| Simon Dray studied Fine
Art (Painting and Stone Carving) at Kingston School of Art. He has
also gained his Art Teacher's Certificate from Goldsmith's College,
University of London and has taught at Epsom School of Art as a visiting
lecturer for many years.
Simon, along with his wife Sally creates props, designs, models, murals, scenic backings etc. for museums, exhibitions, advertising, interiors, films and television. He also finds the time to paint privately. Simon says of the 'Fun I & II' images, "These paintings are based on a traditional form of communication --the advertising hoarding - albeit in this circumstance torn, weathered and fragmented. To me these images represent that confusion, while ironically, simultaneously displaying an innate aesthetic attraction." Fun I by Simon Dray
