She has taught all aspects of art, design & photography, but now works full time as a photographer/artist from her Norfolk home. She has exhibited widely in galleries around Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge.

Sarah says of her work, "I employ a unique approach, combining painting and stitching to my own large and striking photographic work. Colour and the qualities of natural light play a central role. I mainly use oils, working with a dry brush technique to retain the flatness of the image. Many of my recent images are photographed in interior settings, particularly in windows where the bleaching qualities of natural light is at it's strongest. My work is very much dictated by the seasons."
