| Patricia comes from a
talented family of painters. In the early 50's she studied art in
Avignon, France and then later, combined further study with a teaching
diploma in England. She completed a diploma in Fine Art at Falmouth
School of Art and has widely exhibited in the UK, Europe and the USA.
Patricia spends most of her time painting as well as teaching private pupils. She occasionally lectures to art groups, as well as running her own monthly art group. Patricia says of her work, "I am basically a colourist, being fascinated by the influence of one colour set against another. The changes in depth or space, atmosphere or mood achieved by juggling the 'pattern' of hues upon the canvas is an endless conundrum, with sometimes electrifying results".
