| Karen Perrins gained
a BA (Hons) in Visual Communication, specialising in Illustration, from the University of Wolverhampton. She then went on to complete her MA in Visual Communication at the University of Central England. For the last six years whilst she has been studying, Karen has also worked as a freelance illustrator and printmaker and has created over 500 commissioned pieces, many for children's books. Karen's work has been selected in many competitions and awards, including the Imperial Cancer Research Fund " Image for Christmas" and Images 20 & 21 - The Best of British Illustration.
